Meet Yvonne.

CHANGE STEWARD | SELF-LOVE MENTOR | SOULFUL LIVING GUIDE

Yvonne is a certified life coach, breathwork facilitator, and de-conditioning expert specializing in empowering womxn of color and children of immigrants to create lives of authentic fulfillment, purpose, and E.A.S.E.

As a WOC and daughter of immigrants herself, she knows what it’s like to live her life according to someone else’s expectations and the nuanced cultural challenges that arise in choosing to walk one’s own path.

With a degree in psychology and a background of holistic and esoteric studies across the fields of cultural anthropology, sociology, Human Design, yoga, entheogenic medicine, and more, Yvonne has spent nearly 20 years studying people and what it means to live a connected and meaningful life—what it means to be human.

Known for her deep empathy and ability to discern between what is authentic and what is conditioned, Yvonne works seamlessly and intuitively at the intersection of the practical and the mystical to identify what stories need to be released in order to honor who you are at your core.

With thoughtful, compassionate honesty and artful questioning, she will guide you in uncovering the ways you were taught to abandon your own voice and identify what patterns need to be unlearned so you can grow into who you were always meant to be.

This blended methodology—with a bit of woo, yet grounded in evidence-based positive psychology—has supported Yvonne's clients to shed their conditioning and limiting stories, experience radical self-love and acceptance, and start showing up for themselves and creating fulfilling lives on their terms.

  • "Working with Yvonne you have this great opportunity to have someone in your corner. They're there to support you, and sometimes you don't have that in life, somebody who's not going to criticize or judge you. It's very empowering because many of us have never had that before."

My Approach:
E. A. S. E.

After facing the possibility of my own death at 32 years old, my work became further fueled by the belief that a life well-lived is a death well-met.

Blending the practical and the mystical—the research and the woo—I help you uncover not just what the research says we all need to thrive, but what you, specifically, need to move through the world with E.A.S.E.

I’m here to help you live fearlessly so you can die without regrets. To help you get curious about who you are, what you really want, and the impact you want to have in this life.

Think of me as a life co-designer, a flashlight helping you to navigate your (sometimes bumpy) path to joy, a partner in your transformation, a catalyst for the change that you want and, deep down, know you can create.

I’m here to help you create a soulful, courageous, and meaningful life of E.A.S.E. that you can look back on from your deathbed and honestly say, “I’m proud of the life I’ve lived.”

MY STORY & LETTER TO YOU

As an Asian American woman, child of a single, immigrant tiger-mom, and former corporate 9-5er, I know what it’s like to feel like I don't quite fit in the box I'm "supposed" to.

To wake up one day crushed by the realization that I had been living my entire life based on someone else’s definitions of success and happiness, not my own.

Like most children of immigrants, I spent my entire childhood learning that my voice was not important. That my definitions of success and happiness were not valid. That there was one "correct" path (good grades, good college, good job) and that it was the “only” path.

And so I did it.

I jumped through all the hoops only to realize on the other side, I wasn’t happy or fulfilled.

I wasn’t engaged. I was just running on the hamster wheel, going through the motions.

So, I quit.

I quit my comfortable, stable corporate job and bought a one way ticket back home to myself.

With that one way ticket I rode motorcycles through the mountains of northern Vietnam and learned to salsa on sweaty dancefloors with Colombian locals. I scraped my hands and knees rock climbing in Laos and swam with bioluminescent plankton on the beautiful beaches of Thailand. I sat in ceremony with Peruvian shamans and trekked through the unforgiving Patagonian wilderness with everything I needed on my back.

I’ve traveled around the world in pursuit of a sense of purpose or belonging—trying to figure out where in the grand scheme of things I belong—and through all that wandering I’ve realized:

The deep longing is not for a place, but is a yearning to return home to the authentic self and to honor all that the self needs to thrive.

When I decided to quit my job back in 2017, I gave myself permission to believe a more meaningful, impactful, and satisfying life was actually possible and, in that moment, I became the conscious creator of my life.

The moment I made the choice I took my power back and that small, internal act changed the course of my life forever.

I didn't know where it would take me at the time, but I made my heart's desires my priority and I believe that is what brought me into alignment with my soul’s mission. It opened the pathways for me to intersect and engage with the fractal line of my purpose, and I'm grateful every day that I took that risk.

If I hadn’t given myself the choice to do what my heart felt pulled to do, I might still be burnt out, working a job that feels “meh,” barely scratching the surface of my capacity for fulfillment, satisfaction, and joy.

Now, I’d be lying if I said it was easy. It wasn’t.

I had to unlearn the conditioning, shame, and shoulds that kept me stuck in a life that wasn’t my own. It’s an ongoing process of deconditioning. It hasn’t been the conventional path and I didn't have anyone to show me the way, but it has been a path lined with depth, purpose, and meaning.

And if there is one thing I've learned it's this:

If you are spending all of your energy pretending to be something you’re not, trying to fit into a mold that was not designed with you in mind, you’ll have nothing left to give back.

By exchanging your authenticity for acceptance, you’re not only selling yourself short, but the rest of the world too.

That is why I do what I do.

Because I believe that every person has a light to share, it just gets buried beneath years of being told to be someone you’re not. And I believe, just as you were taught to dim that light and bury it, you can also learn to liberate it.

I know how scary it can be to take the unconventional path back home to yourself, but I also know what it's like to be on the other side of "I could never..." and trust me when I say, it’s worth it.

If this resonates with you, if you feel it in your bones, I’d love to support you on your journey.

In support of your unfolding,

Yvonne
